Alberta Nyarko

Dr. Alberta Adjebeng Biritwum-Nyarko (MD, MPH, MGCP) is a Medical Doctor and a Public Health Physician Specialist (Physician Epidemiologist) with interest in Health Systems Strengthening, Epidemic Preparedness & Response and Infectious diseases. She obtained her MBChB in 2001 from the KNUST-SMS and an MPH in 2010 from the same School. She became a Member of the Ghana College of Physicians in 2015. She worked as HIV Advisor for the USAID FRHP and has served as Metropolitan Director of Health Service in Kumasi Metropolitan Area in Ashanti Region, Regional Director of Health Service for the Eastern Region and is currently Director of Policy, Planning & Budgeting, Monitoring & Evaluation at the GHS Headquarters.
